The name of this story is Eleven it was written by Sandra Cisneros. This story is about a young girl that had just turned eleven years old but is not happy because she wants to be older than her teacher because she is giving her a hard time. This teacher is really unfair she is really mean, and stricken.This teacher is actually unfair to Rachael. Rachael gets really sad and mad at her teacher because Mrs. Price seen a sweater that has been laying on the floor in her classroom for at least one month, and Felicia Garcia says that it was Rachael and then her teacher said that she saw her wear it. Her teacher made her wear the sweater and Rachael started saying that the sweater wasn’t hers. Her birthday was ruined she said because of Mrs. Price. Rachael is credible because she had to wear the ugly, smelling sweater in front of the classroom and so she started crying. She new that the sweater wasn’t hers and that Mrs. Price was making a mistake that Felicia was lying about the sweater. The teacher screamed at her in front of the whole class and tells her “Rachael that’s it you put on that sweater this instant and no more nonsense. Rachael kept on saying that it wasn’t her sweater and that it was her birthday and she shouldn’t mess it up for her. She also says that her mom made her a cake and when her dad comes from work they will eat it. She ‘s really sad because of Mrs. Price she had ruined her birthday. Another reason she is credible is because she cries in front of the whole classroom and she cant stand the smell of the sweater. She said that “I wish I was invisible “ it is her birthday and she is crying in front of the whole classroom like if she was a little girl. She was so disappointed that she put her head down on the desk and covered head with her arms to cover herself from everyone so that they wouldn’t see her crying and spitting. Then the bell rang and another kid named Phyllis Lopez she said to the class that she did see Rachael wear that smelly, ugly sweater and Rachael took it of right away and gave it Mrs. Price and she acted like if nothing happened.Then she remembered that it was her birthday and then she got sad because it was too late and she got sad again started to say sad things again. A third reason why she is credible is because she called Phyllis Lopez stupid because she is telling the whole class that she saw someone wearing and then Rachael took off the ugly, smelling sweater to give to Mrs. Price. Mrs. Price acts like if nothing happened and if everything was ok. Rachael then got sad because Mrs. Price wouldn’t tell the truth. She wouldn’t admit that she was wrong. Her birthday was completely ruined. In conclusion Rachael was really credible and she was really disappointed because of Mrs. Price. I think she had about the worst birthday. I think Rachael thinks that she has the worst teacher that won’t admit it. Rachael is a good person but Mrs. Price is a bad teacher that can’t tell the truth.
